There is a famous African proverb that says, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’. We agree. But we realised that great technology could really help the village - and make Caring for your loved ones a whole lot easier.

And that is, after all, why we created MediFile – Because you Care.

Caring for loved ones is part of our everyday life, from aging parents and newborn children to people living with a disability. Although it is something we all do, it is often difficult accessing and managing support services.

MediFile co-founder Lourdes Rogers experienced this first hand when faced with organising in-home aged care for her mother and caring for three young children. It was clear that managing the wide range of healthcare providers and wellbeing services was complicated.

Yet, surprisingly, there was no single technology solution that could help her and the family assist with their mothers’ increasing care needs.

Together with husband and co-founder Kristofer Rogers – an award-winning technology entrepreneur – they started the journey towards better care.
